Francis House HomeCare clients choose to live independently at home but need our support to make this possible. We are long-time established providers of care visits at home in Milton Keynes, and our carers work with adults from 18 through to 80 or 90.
All our care visits are personalised to the needs of clients. Francis House is a person-centred care provider. Creating care packages alongside clients, and listening carefully to their needs, allows us to provide tailored, high-quality domiciliary care. A risk assessment is carried out in the initial stages of creating a care plan and we regularly update it.
Care visits in the home, also known as domiciliary care, are provided by trained carers who have the experience to be able to adapt their skills to a range of caring environments. Francis House clients are never seen as ‘a bundle of symptoms’; instead, they’re fully autonomous individuals to be accorded the respect, dignity, and empathy that everyone has a right to expect.
Francis House HomeCare offers scheduled weekly visits, tailored to the needs of our clients in Milton Keynes. The services we carry out may include food preparation, light cleaning duties, accompanied shopping trips, personal care, or medication monitoring. Where there is a specific need – such as an overnight sitting service for an elderly relative – we can provide an appropriate solution.
Person-centred care gives clients the opportunity to make decisions about the kind of care they need. We also work closely with family carers when creating a care package. Our carers always spend time finding out about the people we work with. We enjoy hearing about their professional lives, their aspirations for the future, and the unique contribution they make to those around them.
The Francis House Homecare team find that where clients have been involved in the creation of their care package, the outcome is more beneficial. We listen to what they have to say, respect their opinions, and design care packages that meet their needs.
Francis House HomeCare services are designed to provide care for adults who choose to live in their own homes. All our services are delivered by trained carers. Where specialist care is called for – dementia care, medication management or stoma care – we provide experienced professionals who receive ongoing specialist training.

Specialist training is offered in PEG feeding, autism, stoma care, dementia, and managing challenging behaviour.
