If you need care services, but choose to live independently at home, Francis House HomeCare can help. We are established providers of care at home in Bedfordshire, and our team of professional carers work with clients ranging from 18 – 80 (and beyond!).
Francis House care at home is bespoke to our clients’ needs. We’re a person-centred provider which means that our care packages are created in collaboration with the people we serve. We have clear evidence that people know what care they need and will respond more positively to a package that includes it. A risk plan is always carried out in the initial stages.
Also known as domiciliary care, home care is delivered by trained carers on scheduled visits. They may be quick check-ins, or lengthier periods for personal care, and they can take place daily, or several times a day. Our clients are all special to us, and everyone is afforded the respect, dignity, and empathy that they have a right to expect.
The services we carry out on out home care visits may include cooking, light domestic duties, food shopping trips, or personal care. Where there is a specific need, such as a sitting service overnight, we can schedule in a one-off visit.
Live-in care provides a specialist carer who lives in a client’s home 24/7. They offer consistent support which makes it possible for someone to continue living at home, even if they have dementia, or require palliative care. Many of our clients consider living-in care in Bedfordshire preferable to moving into a care home as they enjoy constant companionship and professional help, whilst remaining in familiar surroundings.
Francis House HomeCare services provide care for adults who choose to live in their own homes. Our services are delivered by trained carers. Where specialist care is required – medication management, palliative care, dementia care – we provide experienced professionals who are in receipt of ongoing specialist training.

Every Francis House care worker completes mandatory training when starting work with us. They then take ongoing supplementary course every year. Specialist training is offered in autism, PEG feeding, dementia, stoma care, and managing challenging behaviour. Staff may also take courses related to specific mental health conditions, and Positive Behaviour Support planning.
